I'm pretty much in love with every set of dreadlocks i see.
I think mine are perfect for me: not too thick, not too thin, not too messy, not too clean, some tips blunted, some tips wispy, some dyed, some natural, some with beads and wraps, some plain.

I'd like them to be of random thickness, about belly button length, minimal loops, wispy ends, lots of frizzy loose hair at the top, adorned with beads and wraps, with a few braids mixed in for flavor. And a long, equally decorated beard to go with them.

Mother earth gave us such awesome manes... I want grow it out in full to show her my appreciation.

Very cool that a lot of people are referring to their own dreads as the perfect set. I'm on the same boat, although I'd probably have made them ever so slightly thinner in order to have more than just 26. But I'm in love with mine too - wouldn't have done anything differently. I tend to prefer tidier locks.

My favorite dreads are blonde, on the smaller side, and long. That said, my last set I loved, natural brown with crazy loops everywhere. I just really enjoy the amount of personality dreads have, and discovering something new about them all the time. I like to have lots of "hair treasures" and i like mine thinner. My last set had over 80 dreads, shooting for around the same this time around. I would bleach my hair lighter to get the blonde dreads I love so much if it wouldn't be such a pain in the ass to maintain that color. Natural it is!

I like my dreads, but I'm not loving the loops.

I want them to be round too - the flattish ones are annoying me. Going to get on with palmrolling!

I can't wait until they're noticeable dreads to the uneducated rather than just looking like an unholy mess lol

Haha I guess I have just 5 noticeable ones, the rest are just covered in loose hairs. In fact I never know what my dreads really look like until I see 'em on my videos and go like wow haha :)

Wow, my internet connection dies for a week or so and I come back to see the thread is still alive.
I LOVE that everybody seems to have different dread preferences.

And to anybody lurking around this thread that hasn't posted yet - GET POSTING.

I think mine at this point are just about perfect for me, the roots could get a little less nuts, but besides that they're a great length, (right down to the nipples), and are matured, clean, and my natural hair color is fine with me.
