I want to hear feedback on what you guys think, I'm new here :) Been lurking around for awhile though. I used the backcombing method.

The only concern I have is that I don't have many. That is due to my super thin hair unfortunately.

The photo from one side looks like there's a band on one of your dreads, is that right?

I wouldn't worry about how many you've got but be aware that they'll be quite chunky

They look pretty good if you've only just started. They really will thicken up over time as the mature into dreadlocks. plenty of folk on here have 'thin' hair. You wouldn't know it after a couple of years dreading. Have a look at the comparison thread in the 'Dreadhead Showcase' topic to see how much peoples hair can change. Thin dreads will become thicker. Thick dreads will become huge.

i have thin hair as well, thats why i dreaded haha to make my hair look fuller . i think they look good, they will thicken up a lot as they start pulling in and knotting up. you can still do a lot more dreads even with thin hair because they will thicken up even if at first they look very thin they would get bigger if that makes sense.

Spot on! Many of us have thin hair that's the awesome thing about dreading our hair looks fuller. You mentioned your concerned about not having many dreads If you want more you could split some of those up. I only mention that because it's much easier to change now than later when their nice, fat and dreaded. Happy Dreading!! P.S. I wanna see a pic with you smiling :-)

I agree with RC, if you think that you might want more, split them up now. I think they look pretty good for being only two weeks old, though! You''l be surprised and how thick and full they get after a few months.

Welcome to DT!

I felt rather worried after posting on Dreadlock Site and being told to 'Comb them out because my sections were to big'. I amlost gave up!

I will post updates as I go on...Once again, thanks a lot! :goodvibes:
