I've never spent a great deal of time in Sheffield, but better than the stuff being produced in Ilkley, Skipton and so on? The Kirkstall Brewery does some really nice stuff too, not to mention the Leeds Brewery. Leeds Best is rather lovely. :goodvibes:

True true definitely. Leeds Best is a bit blonde for my tastes but it is great. Sheffield has some great breweries too. Kelham Island and Thornbridge are my favourites so far. It's not so much the quality of the local microbreweries as the amount of good pubs serving different cask ales. There's just lots more of both here.

Have you been to Arcadia in Headingley yet?

  • Day two and about 1/8th of the way done. Taking it slow and steady... using the twist and rip method and doing 1/2
  • Dreads week 5 - after a swim in the ocean. Lots of nice loopy tangles happening all over the place. Some combining at the roots. Ripping that apart every day.
  • Dreads week 4- wow my hair looks washed out here. I think it's funny how my dreads seem to take on the waves that are always in my hair. I'm surprised at the lack of shrinkage. It's only been a couple of inches so far...
