I like you too :) <3

How did/have you taken care of your dreadlings btw?
All I have done is separate and wash every 2-3 days with lockin-up dreadlock shampoo but a lot of mine have come completely undone :( Yours seem to have always stayed rather locked!!

I wash my hair every other day~ or sometimes only twice a week, depending on how dirty my head feels. I wash with the Lush shampoo bar Seanik and I usually need to separate them after I wash. It can be a little frustrating in the beginning, your hair will go through a lot of changes in the first year and it probably won't look the way you planned. A lot of mine fall out as well, I felt the most frustrated around the 3~5 month mark and sometimes I would reTnR the ends that had fallen out after I showered, you can try this but they will usually fall out again. Overall my hair seemed to lock pretty fast and I think it's because I go for swims in the ocean a couple times a week. The combination of the salt water and friction from swimming is great for knots. What you're doing is perfect, and swimming in the ocean is great too if you can. Beautiful locks take time and you've already given them a great head start with the TnR. Time and patience are the best maintenance, break your mirrors for the first year or so. Your hair is looking great so far, stick with it and you'll have gorgeous long ropes before you know it :hrt:

I live right by the beach but don't go too often because my son was blessed with the same skin tone as me and will end up fried even after 2 hours in the sun  Maybe I can try to talk my husband into beaching it sometime soon! I wish I wasn't as impatient as I am. I need to embrace the strays and rogues and just remember that they will be great in the end!!! Yours did lock crazy fast and I love that!! I just look at your timeline and I feel reassured that everything will turn out great

Hi hun I was just wondering how you wore your hair in the early days? Mines about shoulder length right now and tend to wear it tied back with a scarfs too but thinking I should start wearing it down >.<

Wear 'em down as often as you can as you will get more movement, which = more knots  plus having them tied up a lot can encourage them to Congo more so you'll have to doubly make sure that you keep on top of separating them.
