okay, so i drove home for this last weekend for Halloween. The girlfriend and I grab some food and start looking for some scary movies on the tv. What do I find instead? Freakin Wife Swap but with an entire Rasta family!!!
Both parents have dreads, and a few of the kids do too! i can't find a video of it or anything, but this site actually has a few pics from the episode. it really was an interesting one..lol

Man, that brings back horrbile memories of my childhood in which I was not allowed to listen to what I wanted, eat what I wanted, and my dad constantly said "we'll have a battle" and yelled at me and shit.
Sure, life at home now sucks too, but its a fuck of a lot better now that I live my own life with trusting parents.
That episode sounds very interesting and very fucked up.

Man, I just don't understand why anyone would do one of those shows. I wouldn't dare let my life be filmed for entertainment.

its like "embarrassing illnesses" (self explanitary really) people who are to embarrassed to go to a doctor leap at the chance to go on TV and show all the freaking world...moronic TV!!

I hate these shows its nothing but reality and panel shows with idiot judges, infact im starting to hate most things on TV these days.

i have a bigger problem with the families all agreeing to do the swap, and then not go through with it and acting all badass. i guess hostility is encouraged by the producers to make the show more dramatic?

anyway...i have a problem with Jason's attitude about not getting a job. sure, maybe Ja will provide, but Ja doesn't cut decent paychecks just cuz you sing in a reggae band all night. put some fucking food in the house and feed your kids, godamnit. :scream:

i give the synopsis of this episode   for it's portrayal of dreadlocked ppl as non-working bums and stereo-typed reggae singers. i mean, it's like they found the WORST dreadlocked ppl out there...way to feed the ignorant masses already. :yuck:

I remember seeing one episode of Wife Swap where one family was snooty arrogant american family, and the other was a family of hippies. When they did the whole Rule Change thing the 'Wife' tried to make the hippy father cut his dreads off. I just think the whole Wife Swap thing is so ridiculous, but dayum, it is funny at times.

As much as I disagree with the idea of the show, it's highly entertaining at times!
