Hey guys!

New to the forums, but i noticed plenty of posts regarding Body mods, so i thought this the perfect place to get the info i need..

So I recently stretched to 1/2 inch in both lobes, and went out to get the next size up, 9/16.. Now, this taper is absolutely massive.. It looks much bigger than one normal step up.. Ive tried multiple times with no luck, the stretch just doesnt seem to be happening. There was some minor bleeding, but other than that no damage has been caused. Did anyone else find this stretch abnormally difficult? And if so, any tips for gettin this thing in? :D Hehe, hate lookin at em sittin here, and not in my lobes! Im scared of a blow out or some kinda damage.. Is this step a step big enough to blow out?

if you're bleeding, you caused a lot of damage. you need to downsize and let your lobes heal before you attempt to stretch again. at larger sizes, taping is much more preferable than tapers. any step is a big enough step to blow out if you don't listen to your body. you should stop at ANY sign of resistance.

/\ Word. PFE tape is the shit for larger size stretching. Speaking of which, I have been wanting to stretch again, must resist.

Yes.. def. at this stage use bondage or plumbing tape...nothing with adhesive.... i think i went from 3/8ths to my 1 1/8'' using this method.. i stayed far clear of tapers...but even with tape remember to take time to stretch. it gets easy and you think you can add more than you should..

happy stretching. =).. ohh should post pics.

I've been sitting at 1 1/2" for nearly five years so my memory isn't so sharp when it comes to the whole experience of stretching but I clearly remember having had to use tape at one point - and on - because tapers would have caused far too much damage. Tapers were just too much of a jump.

Here's the BAF taping guide--its so much better than tapers, especially as you get into larger sizes.

Wow! Taping seems so much better than what I did when I stretched my ears in junior high! Back then, I just found random things around the house that looked a bit bigger than what I currently had in there. I soaked in rubbing alcohol for a few minutes (depending on what it was), then shoved it in. Mine never made it this large though.. I think I only got slightly larger than 00 when I stopped stretching...

ah god, the thought of it makes me cringe  Are you still stretched? Did you end up with any blowouts or anything?

Just taped up to 2g, and am wiiicked happy--finally starting to get to the point where you can tell they're stretched.
